Here's why MindMAP Mastery students are raving about our approach to transformational coaching.
When you first start coaching with someone they'll pretty much ALWAYS ask the same questions:
The short story is that most people are intelligent enough to know that in order to accomplish whatever is most important to them, that they have to STOP doing certain things and START doing certain other things and in most cases they ALREADY know what those things are.
(After all, there are few people who struggle with their health who don't ALREADY know that sitting on the couch every night eating a pint of Haagen Dazs and drinking a bottle of wine isn't the best way to get healthy and there are few people struggling with relationships who don't ALREADY know that spending all their time at work, alienating their spouses and children and engaging in petty-bickering when they get home isn't the best way to to regain trust and intimacy, right?)
In truth, most people already KNOW most of what needs to happen in order to see improvements in their lives yet struggle to stay motivated, consistent, focused and inspired toward actually DOING what needs to be done.
And it not only costs them the SPECIFIC goals they're working toward but it knocks their confidence, self-esteem and identity too.
After all, how many times can you experience yourself undoing all your hard work before you actually start to believe that you're a loser, a failure and a self-sabotager?
And once you believe that, how long before those beliefs start to infect other areas of your life?
That's why the MindMAP Mastery approach emphasises explaining to our clients what's going on at a BRAIN level that causes each of these problems, challenges and obstacles to their transformation, meaning that from day one our clients can identify, understand and appreciate what's REALLY going.
This simple yet vitally important step starts the shift from being stuck at the EFFECT end of the spectrum to become the all important CAUSE of their most desired transformation. The difference is one of being a VICTIM of circumstances to becoming the CREATOR of them by first UNDERSTANDING and then GIVING the brain EXACTLY what it needs in order to be successful.
One of the best bits of feedback we receive from MindMAP Mastery students is how IMMEDIATELY applicable the MindMAP Principles are to their coaching.
We love hearing this because this is was THE driving idea behind creating and sharing the course; to have coaches seeing, feeling and experiencing a specific and measurable shift in the impact their coaching was having on the lives of their clients from day one.
We achieve this by creating short, clear and easy to understand lessons that tie DIRECTLY into the thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviours that coaches are seeing in their clients and linking those to powerful coaching PRINCIPLES that consistently and predictably work no matter who the client is, what challenge they're facing or how long it's been going on.
Sounds like hype, we know, but it's true nonetheless.
That's because MindMAP Mastery is a PRINCIPLE-based SYSTEM of coaching that uses NEUROSCIENCE as a basis for helping the BRAIN to get what it wants and needs rather than a METHOD-based 'toolbox' of tips and tactics borrowed from positive psychology, goal-setting, motivational interviewing and other 'mindset' approaches.
Of course, that's not to say that these other methodologies don't work at all or have no merit. On the contrary, they often work VERY well but usually only for SOME people and only SOME of the time.
The MindMAP Mastery approach works for ALL people EVERY time... and more often than not, from DAY ONE.
We believe that the best possible 'advertisement' for powerful and life-transforming coaching is for COACHES to see, feel and experience THEMSELVES having powerful and life transforming experiences as a result of what they're learning and applying to their own lives.
Makes sense when you think about it, right?
After all, a coach who has used the very same principles they're about to use with a new client to transform their own life for the better is far more likely get full emotional 'buy-in' than those who merely 'took a course' and gained a certification, don't you think?
That's why from day one of the program, we focus on helping COACHES to understand their own brains better, to use the MindMAP Principles in their own lives and to develop a deep and unshakeable sense of trust and certainty in THEMSELVES both as people and as coaches.
We're incredibly proud to say that the feedback from the coaches who've taken the program has been universally positive both in terms of the difference it has made to THEIR OWN lives AND the impact it has made on their clients lives too.
As one student told us "I used to go into some coaching sessions feeling like a hypocrite at best or a complete fake at worst. I was worried that my clients would somehow know that I was struggling with the very same things they were and that I'd lose all credibility as a coach if they found out.
Now it's completely different, not only have many of those challenges been solved through using the MindMAP approach but those that are still around ADD to my credibility as I explain to my clients the very real-time actions I'm taking to address them. My clients LOVE that I'm a 'real person' just like them and that I'm using the same systems, strategies and steps that they are"
MindMAP coaches don't just 'LEARN' coaching, they LIVE IT OUT LOUD!
Learning the MindMAP Mastery principles & practices, strategies & skills COULD be a long, drawn out, serious and (let's just say it) BORING process like so many coaching courses are.
You know, tons of 'dry' academic reading, videos presented in unmemorable ways and that often leave you scratching your head wondering what you were supposed to have learned from them and, more importantly, how you're actually supposed to USE them in real life?
Yeah, we've struggled through those courses too.
That's why we've designed MindMAP Mastery USING neuroscience to TEACH neuroscience.
What we know from both research and experience is that learning is about three things:
1. Attention
2. Intention
3. Repetition
Simply put, if you repeatedly place your attention on something with a specific outcome in mind, you tend to understand, know and apply what you've learned.
Makes sense, right?
Yet much of what we're taught is delivered in bone-dry, data-packed, un-relatable and un-enjoyable formats that make learning SO much harder than it needs to be and practically GUARANTEES that the transition from INFORMATION to actual IMPLEMENTATION never happens.
We never put MindMAP Mastery together to simply provide a bunch of dry facts and data, that's why all of our material is created in short 'bite sized' portions of (usually) 30 minutes or less, delivered conversationally rather than formally, uses a combination of real life scenarios, stories and metaphors and invites both discussion and experimentation IMMEDIATELY after taking a lesson.
Our MindMAP Mastery students have told us that the way we combine video, audio, printed material, discussion and practice into the program has not only made the process of learning about the brain and behaviour so much more impactful but that the very PROCESS of learning it was fun and enjoyable too.
We LOVE hearing that!
Because it's the surest sign that someone is on the path to mastery.
It goes like this:
1. If you enjoy it you'll repeat it
2. If you repeat it you get good at it
3. If you're good at it and you keep on repeating it you'll master it
4. If you master it you put a little effort in and get a LOT of results out.
THAT's what happens for EVERY MindMAP Mastery coach.
They enjoy the program so much that they repeat it until it's second nature meaning that for seemingly TINY inputs of time, effort and energy with their clients they get HUGE results.
Clients are often shocked by what happens in so short a time but it's not luck, it's not chance and it's not magic (though it can often feel like it); it's the natural consequence of building habits around enjoyment.
We take the enjoyment of our coaching students experience of MindMAP Mastery seriously BECAUSE enjoyment is the most accurate predictor of whether or not they'll master the material well enough to show up in the lives of THEIR clients as powerful agents of transformation.
So be warned, don't expect a stuffy, academic, dry and 'serious' course.
Expect fun, enjoyment and (at times) even some silliness as part of the MindMAP experience BECAUSE we're serious about helping coaches to create more influence, more impact AND more income from transforming lives.
And besides, why WOULDN'T you want to enjoy yourself? 🙂
Finally someone took the aspects of human potential, personal development, psychology, neurology, human behaviour, mindset, brainset and the human body... and made it human!
I think my favourite thing about it is that it meets the needs of my logic-driven, explanation-needing self along with my pondering, curious, semi-hippy spiritual side.
MindMAP has been completely life-changing for me.
It's the missing link!

To be honest, I felt a little out of my depth when I saw some of the other 'fitness celebrities' in the group but after just one coaching session I started to realise that anybody is capable of being world class if you just follow and live by the MindMAP principles.
It's so simple and massively effective not just for clients but for yourself and your own relationships.
Well worth the investment to be surrounded by this bunch of world-class coaches!

MindMAP is really special.
I've learned so much about myself in just a few months (I've even found I have a human brain, even though I wasn't using it very much before)
I never thought an online course would hold my attention enough. I thought I might get bored and not do the work but it's been the complete opposite.
I've actually slowed up listening to the lessons because I don't want to get to the end.
